Career Highlights:

Dr. Stork is a published author and has presented nationally in the areas of instructional technology and instructional design, best practices in online teaching and learning, and digital integration to support student learning. Her current research interests include examining the impact of UDL supports in online learning environments and the impact of digital integration in the K-12 learning environment. Dr. Stork is a professionally certified Florida K-12 educator and currently serves as President of the Technology Integrated Learning (TIL) division of the Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT). She is also the Chair of the Continuous Systemic Improvement School Board Advisory Committee for the School District of Lee County. Dr. Stork believes her purpose is to create a collaborative, engaging learning environment where she facilitates students in active inquiry and discovery that promotes opportunities for authentic learning.

    I started teaching because I am passionate about equitable access to quality education for all students.

  • What advice would you give to your online students?

    Students in my courses should begin by carefully reviewing the syllabus and home page of the Canvas course. To be successful, students should participate in our collaborative learning environment at a graduate level of scholarship and maintain open communication with me.

    To gain knowledge and skills in order to advocate as a change agent for enhanced student learning.
